While looking for something to do with the dosh that I now won't be spending on a new plastic hat, I discovered the latest Lazza adventure is out jolly soon. The last one was quite decent and Rise is now Xbox exclusive no more. Comes with all sorts of shite that the Xbox didn't get but which they got/are getting via dlc. And a book. And a co-op mode which looks interesting.
And some of her original outfits! It'll be like the Saturn all over again. But with less pointy bazongers.
It's out next Tuesday, but I just ordered from Simply Games so they're probably slipping it into a jiffy as I type. Here's a moving thing for your eyes:
A bit later: they actually were bunging it in a jiffy. If yer buyin', Simply Games is shippin'.
... and apparently it has VR support. Hmmm. That could mean you can rest your helmet on the box when you aren't using it.

The last one is still my favourite single player experience of resent times, I finished it twice and a half due to having it on 3 different platforms 4 if you count the freebe on PS3 thanks to Plus.
I was going to get from Amazon as they are holding a £25 gift voucher for me, but if Simply are shipping….

So does VR support mean there are first-person bits in the game? If the player gets to look down at jiggle physics in motion I might have to re-order.

That makes sense. If it had a proper strong VR element they'd really be pushing it, especially with the launch dates on top of each other.

Loving this at the moment, not even hit the story proper yet either just been tinkering about in the tombs and doing the challenges, its a brilliant game that deserves a lot more praise than its had!!

I’m a bit of a fan since the ps1 days though it did get very dodgy before the reboot, this one doesn’t disappoint I like the way it mixes up the traditional solo exploration in-between action, I wondered into one of the dlc stories without realising so have got completely side-tracked from the main story, but I am regretting not starting on a harder difficulty.
This is also the reason why I haven’t given VR the attention it deserves or touched BF1 and buy on a whim Titanfall 2 that jumped into my grocery basket at the weekend.

Why do you regret the difficulty Chris? I started on normal only becuase I really struggled towards the end of the last one with the bosses and stopped playing for a long time because of it!

@ Adam, to be honest I can't remember if I had it on the Saturn or not, I may even have double dipped.
@ Keith, Combat isn't offering any challenge, but I'm still relatively early in the game but I feel any learning curve is negated by this ones combat being exactly the same as the last, which I played through on hard last time around.

Can the difficulty be changed mid way through? I tend to be a story and explore kind of person anyway more then for the challenge otherwise i never tend to finish anything because it takes so bloody long to complete them That reminds me I must start playing the witcher again to finish the DLC...
