I might dust mine off during the festive brake, but to be honest the only reason I’ve still got it is because I haven’t bothered to box it all up again.

Thought it was a success? What's the problem motion sickness? Lack of games?

I am still using mine but in between 2d games as the qulity of 2d releases seem to be better at the moment, saying that Robinson: The Journey arrived in the post today and YouTube are releasing a VR update this week so 360 vids work so it may get a lot more use over crimbo

Thought it was a success? What's the problem motion sickness? Lack of games? Games, for me. The magic hat itself works fine once you adjust to the resolution. But none of the launch games appealed much, there has only been one high-ish profile release since (in over 2 months) and there has been a steady trickle of indie stuff on the store - but indie VR is exactly the sort of unappealing tat you should expect. The system needs good proper games - not overpriced and overshort 'experiences'. It needs good games desperately - or it will die.

I'm still loving mine, but lack of time is the issue. Just bought fruit ninja vr. Graphics are really clear through the headset. Granted it isn't the most graphically intensive game, but the move controllers accuracy is spot on.
Kids are loving it

Games will come thick and fast I'm guessing the software games developers have to get their heads around the tech. Do we know how many units Sony sold thus far? That maybe the key thing that will attract the games producers.

Not seen any figures but it's still hard to get hold of, that could mean eather Sony can't make them fast enough or they are deliberately keeping stocks low to give the impression of demand. More likely the former especially this time of year.

latest "estimates" have the ps vr outselling both the vive and rift combined.... and hopefully with a large enough base the software companies will support it more

Rift is very expensive especially if you don't have capable PC, the other unit is not cheap either, Sony has a good chance here providing the tech is capable enough. Might be wise to drop the price and get units into people's living rooms.
