I believe its back, passing is so slick and feels like a proper game of football, I went back to the fifa 15 demo and couldn't play it as it felt inferior.
There are flaws like not enough fouls from the cpu and the keeper can throw the ball way to far , but overall its a big improvement on previous PES. I have fifa on pre order from Amazon but that will be going straight back as I don't think I will enjoy it after playing PES.

Good I hope you like it, as I don't think you can get the true feeling of the game from the videos.

Used to love PES back in the day when it was good, gonna have to stick with FIFA though as my boy is FIFA mad (don't judge him too harshly he's only 7 and has never experienced the PES glory days!) To be honest he's probably never heard of PES!

I am going to try both demos too and decide which one is for me. Great to have a choice.

After playing both demo's I don't really think that much of either of them. The players on FIFA seem to have the turning circle of a jumbo jet now!

Tried the demo of pes late last night, couldn't get into it. Played four matches, 4 losses no goals for 5 against and 3 red cards 2 yellow cards tells you how badly I did. Maybe I was tired lol. Here's my thoughts players seem to lack explosive acceleration especially on the players you expect it on, come to think of it all the players felt kind of samey? Graphically it's way behind fifa series, pitch looks likes a carpet and while the close ups of the individual players capture the stars well it only makes the rest of the background graphics look more cartoony. Not sure how much of my view is blurred by how badly I played the game, it's not how I remember the early pes games.

Tbh your spot on in terms of graphics , fifa always has great presentation and looks nicer. I think you just need to play it more to really appreciate how good the gameplay is, because fifa is way too fast. I am hoping fifa has not forever captured you and you will be able to see the light soon
I thought the star players felt different, especially robben he has a wand of a left when cutting in from the right, same as Bale. If you have not played pes in a while then some adaptation is needed as its like night/dark compared to fifa gameplay. Every foul seems to be a yellow card or red, so that needs addressing on pes. Also think there is more emphasis on build up play trying to work openings with good passing, as fifa very much relies on pace.

So your saying pes is a tactical game where as fifa is a run and gun game. Fifa's obviously modelled on the premiership and pes la liga.
