Nice out in the open world its very heavily filtered but in a good way can’t put my finger on it , lots going on, wild life moving about and wind blowing etc with no need to have fraps running in the corner making you paranoid about settings. Movement is very sensitive takes some getting used to after Bloodborne’s perfect controls, but all is adjustable with sliders in the options, and horse riding is well done very similar to Red Dead. Only an hour in not done much but follow prompts at the moment.

Like I said there is a lot going on but my eyes aren’t good at detecting that sort of thing, all I can say is I didn’t notice any frame chugging.

There has been talk of frame rate and other issues on xbox one, is the ps4 version ok ? Not any noticeable frame drops that I would be concerned about. I'm not going to lie but it does dip below 30 in fast moving scenes like riding your horse fast. I've not played enough of it to notice if there are any other problems. If you've got a fast enough PC to play this game then your going to get a better experience overall but I wouldn't be put of with a few frame drops here and there. I was going to get the PC version but my gaming laptop can't handle this one to get the best out of it so opted for the console version. Anyway it's the gameplay that matters the most to me. If it looks great but plays like crap then I would be annoyed with it.

Thanks Bahamut if both you and Retro find no problems then that's good enough, would have liked the pc version but don't think I would get the best performance, so console version it is.

I also want this game as well. But I have promised myself to get rid of my some of my PS4 games I bought last year and not played. Still currently playing Far Cry 4 but very close to finishing then Wolfenstein The new blood and hopefully alien isolation if i got the balls and all before TESO comes out.

I wouldn’t rush, I'm going to stick my neck out and say this one hasn't lived up to expectations, there is plenty to do but it hurts my eyes, fingers crossed it can be sorted with a patch.

Hurts your eyes how?? only problem I have is reading the small HUD, otherwise graphics seem fine for me.

I've seen a few comments praising the high quality of the cut-scene acting. What I've seen hasn't been impressive at all, and the grunt you control is dreadful. He wouldn't be out of place in a C-grade action flick. Ugh.

I've been hearing this being touted as the game of the year! Who am I supposed to believe?

I have played 3 hours so far and loving it, the beginning is not meant to be as good as the rest of the game and the combat at the beginning is hard also, it is meant to get easier as you level up.

Looks to much like shadow of mordor for me and I've not finished that yet, mordor is a great game btw I'd recommend this.
