Just to add to Ebandriel's link, this is how the last boss is defeated on YouTube.

Or you can just run up to him and melee him, then press left, right, left, right, x, x, y, y then you should hear a little tune play and he dies. That's what I heard anyway.
NB - please don't try this if you really do want to beat him as although I'm sure watching it would be hilarious the only thing that will really happen is a very quick and painful death. I am simple referencing some older games that when entering button presses similar would result in something hideen being unlocked - if you do decide to try it and it works I am deadly serious and will happily accept any and all thanks.

We tried the raid today and its not as hard as you think. We did have somebody who knew what to do and where to go. Thanks to him we managed to reach the time gate section. I have got footage of the raid which i'll upload to YouTube so you can see how we managed it. We will hopefully complete the raid tomorrow. Sorry I missed the invite (the PSN messaging system is screwed sometimes). I look forward to getting involved in the next few attempts.

Congrats so far and good luck tonight. how long did the first part take? Well the gate took us not very long... once we had six players that was. We didn't have much trouble with the Templar, gorgons labrynth was fairly simple, but we only got past the gatekeeper last night. Atheon wore us down to the point of frustration so we're going to take a crack again tonight.

We will do it tonight I hope. It will help if the Warlocks equip Fireborn so you can revive yourself. Especially the relic carrier. As for the Titan you should equip Weapons of light on the Defender subclass so we can do more damage on the boss when we get into the bubble. For the hunter's our subclass should be Gunslinger with Gunfighter and Over the horizon perks.
I have a suggestion for the 2 teams of 3 and the strategy.
Portal team - Me, Jonny and MrAmies Vault team - Ebandriel, Waylander and Stevie
Jonny as your the highest level you should be the relic carrier. MrAmies and I will take care of the oracles while you take care of the minotaur etc. The vault team should move to the sync plate of the portal we will be coming though and clear the supplicants. You must keep the supplicants away from the portal that the portal team comes through. Once the Portal is open, the vault team should move to the center platform and continue to clear the supplicants. The titan should put up his bubble.
Once the portal team is back we will join the vault team on the center platform and help shoot Atheon. Once time's vengeance reaches about 2 secs left the portal team will jump to the back and then we repeat again until Atheon is beaten.

I'm currently level 24 and slowly working up to 26. Once I'm up in really interested in having a go at the raid. Hoping some of you more experienced guys can help me out and drag me through. I'm a hunter with an almost fully upgraded gunslinger.

We started another raid last night and it seemed easier this time round to open the front door. Maybe it was because we all knew what to expect. We did have a new member with us but he did OK. We got some more new loot too. Now we know how to do it a couple of us can run the raid with other members that are ready to have a go.

Sounds good to me, let me know when, i'll likely be playing a lot this weekend - but will probably want to spend a considerable amount of time doing iron banner as well.

Congrats on the lovely progress. What days do you plan to stick to raiding? Tuesday's till maybe 9 aren't great for me. Almost lvl 28 tho. Still no Exotic Weapons tho. Got a new Headset coming hopefully soon.

Congrats on the lovely progress. What days do you plan to stick to raiding? Tuesday's till maybe 9 aren't great for me. Almost lvl 28 tho. Still no Exotic Weapons tho. Got a new Headset coming hopefully soon. An upgraded legendary primary weapon will do. Void damage weapons on one of your special or heavy slots are a must, legendary or exotic. Could the ones that want to raid state if you can do it on the week days or weekends. Put down your character class and level so I can team you up. We need at least one titan. Titans are a must for the final boss as they have a bubble shield with weapon buff. If there are enough that are ready we can make up a couple of raiding parties.
