Since we've already got a few people with this and the likelihood of a second club being set up how do people like the idea of a weekly inter clan challenge.
This could be a hot lap time trial, drift challenge or anything else you guys can think of. One person sets the challenge and then everyone has 7 days to record their best effort.
Until the online challenges are working and we understand how they work and what you can / can't do with them we could just do an old fashioned leaderboard on here. See who is the fastest in an Audi A1 around a random track, see who can score the most drift points in a 2 lap run around somewhere in any car of their choice.
What are people's thoughts? If people are up for it we could get one started as soon as we wanted

Cracking idea, had something similar on PGR where the winner gets to choose the next challenge.
However don't we need the leaderboards to be working to verify?

Great idea, but yeah like Chris says we need drive club to be functioning correctly first in order to keep tabs on each other's performances via the leaderboards.
How many of us are going to be playing drive club?

Easy way around it is to use the share function to take a snapshot of your laptime/score. That should be good enough verification until the leaderboards working.

Well as the leaderboards are up. Does someone want to pick a track for a fastest lap challenge? I recommend limiting it to the hot hatches for the car this week so that everyone will have them unlocked and they can be a bit more forgiving whilst trying to go fast.

It was your idea Dan you should choose first.
Is there going to be a cut off time? Also can we see friends times that our outside the club? asking as I couldn’t find them last night.

I will have to jump on to find the track names.
Yes you can see friends times now. The leaderboards have a global, friends and club filter. I'm guessing they were just slowly coming online last night. I know one of my times won't post to the leaderboard. The 4th event in hot hatch. Think it's the championship.
I imagine the cut off being 23:59 on Sunday. Then can start the next one first thing on Monday. That way people have a full week to get a chance to record a time.

sounds good, does someone need to set a time to beat or do we just see who can go fastest, it needs to be a track that is in the rookie section, that most would have raced already I think, don't mind though. also the same car??
