Having done the Raid twice, levelled two characters past 20, and accumulated most of the trophies, destiny feels done and dusted for me. I know the dlc is out in dec, but honestly how many people would have moved on by then?
The only thing left for me to do is to collect raid gear, and given bungie is hellbent on increasing the difficulty of it, and not improving raid drops, I think it would be nitpicking at this stage.
Does anyone else feel the same, or is this the grumblings of a lone player?

I was hoping for something of Halo Reach quality with added multiplayer elements. Sadly, I found the story uninteresting and the bullet sponge bosses boring. The only tension I found in the PVE gameplay was whether I'd have enough ammo to get through each stage (and not in a good horror game way). I think I'll likely trade in the game in the near future.
It may also have suffered in my eyes as I was playing the Last of Us multiplayer quite a bit before I jumped to Destiny, and since I deserted the Visitor I have been having a great time with Alien Isolation.

Yeah I feel the same, it's just plain boring now doing strike after strike and I bet the DLC will equal more of the same.
Maybe time for a trade in while it's worth something, TBH the whole next gen thing is a huge let down or maybe I'm too old to be gaming now.

Went through a gaming middle age crisis for over six months sold my xbox 360 and had a total withdrawal from gaming prior to getting back on for the ps4, and while the launch titles were a little bit disappointing But I'm still enjoyed my gaming return. Tbh no game has total longevity however the rate of release of games has been quite rapid recently I've managed to aquire a few games I've not played too much at all including destiny. More so playing with like minded gamers from gamers evolved has given me more zest for gaming even returning to pc for my itch. Evolve, the division yet to come the future is bright.

I'm definitely too old to grind. At least that's certainly the case if I can't see the real point in it (I spent a huge amount of time grinding in Skyrim but it it was an enjoyable process - and for some irrational reason I wanted dragon armour). I guess the process of doing something you don't enjoy doing in order to get stuff feels too much like work.
When playing Destiny I can see the huge amount of work that has gone in to creating the world. The gunplay itself is also great. It's just a shame I don't find it very fun as a game.

That's exactly the stage to hit eject on the ps4 pop in another game.

Nope. I've got a level 28 and a level 26, still loving it. DLC can't come soon enough.

I think a lot of players will quit it soon; it needs new content now, not in a couple of months. I haven't raided and I'm spending my time mostly chasing public events in the hope of getting shards to get to 28 - that could be a nifty game in itself if it wasn't for the loading pauses. I'll probably call it a day when my hunter and warlock are both 28 because the grind to get 2 characters to 29 won't be worth it. I don't need better gear since I don't raid so capping out at 28 is fine by me. If I'm not sick of the game by then I might level my baby titan to 20 since there's an exotic chest waiting in the vault.
As for extra content, it depends on what's in it and what it costs. If it's aimed at 30+ I doubt I'll invest in it, unless they tweak the way armour is upgraded.

I started a Titan over the weekend and have found it a refreshing change to the daily +20 grind I've got used to. Now returning to my warlock to do the daily’s seams dull. The story really is to short and should have been fleshed out for at least another 10 levels. I’ll play the dlc because I’ve paid for it, but if it’s more story in the same 4 areas then I smell a rat.

I'm enjoying it still, but I'm only level 23 on my first character, so some things are still new. I'm doing a number of strikes, but still can't do the weekly raid as yet, so am looking forward to having that ability.
Once done I still have the two other characters and the second skill set stuff to do, so I have plenty left, but very little time to play.
I'm still drawn to it above DriveClub that on Saturday evening was really annoying trying to get 3 of us in online races.

The real fun for me is trying the ridiculously hard (Nightfall or Weekly Heroic Level 28 with a Level 25 character) just to see if I can do it. Whilst I am still really enjoying it, I am worried that I'll be fed up by December.

Honestly the only thing really pissing me off is the exotic bounties. I dont pvp im bad at it but im being forced to for those items. After this mornings failed excursion trying to do the thorn bounty im seriously considering either shadows of mordor, alien isolation or evil within. No progression no raid armour and frustraiting pvp exotic bounties make this pve player a sad panda

Im still having fun, its becoming slightly more grindy having two characters and im equally looking forward to/dreading starting a warlock.
The December DLC will be key and I really hope it delivers some interesting story elements, if not I can see more people moving onto other games (theres going to be plenty to choose from by then)
The thing thats actually been more fun is the social aspect and its been great doing the raid and missions with people from the clan - I know theres a few people Im still to have a game with, but feel free to drop in if my game is open and send me a request if you're not already in my friend list.
