No chance of me being on at 6pm. 8pm I may be able to, but it may more likely be 9 for me.
Are we gonna try crota or still doing VoG?
Pros for crota are it is short, can easily be done in 30 to 40 minutes. The bridge will be the trickiest part. Deathsinger can be done a bit slower to make sure there are no silly deaths and the crota battle should be easy if the sword bearer doesn't take too many risks.
Cons - enemies are level 32 by end. Crota can be a dick and kill you even while invisible. Everyone will have to be 32 for it to be done safely.
Pros for VoG - everyone is above the level cap so no one shot kills and enemies will be a bit easier
Cons for VoG - it's longer than crota. Weird Templar glitch we saw last time! The big drop for the gorgon maze. The gorgons randomly spotting someone (could counter that by killing it if quick enough). The jumping puzzle. Atheon messing up teleports.

Ha... Cons of option a) one itty bitty one. Cons of b) HUGE GIGANTIC UNIVERSE OF ARSE!!!
Fair enough. TBH, I'm happy trying a couple of runs of Crota first. We'll find out pretty quickly how easy it is. And I think you're right, if we're all level 32, and the fact that we are sufficiently experienced to know what to do and when, it should be do-able. As long as we focus on asking for help early, where need be (eg. the bridge). Let's do it! Pending other people's verdicts, of course...

The bridge will undoubtedly be the hardest part to not die at. The only reason we die in shrieker corridor and death singer is because we rush for the chest or the mad rush to kill her. She dies really quickly once she gets to the liturgy part of her song. Take her out and then everyone run back outside and slowly mop up the rest. Titan bubble will me a massive help for this.

I think with 3, we'll be chancing our luck (ie to get other volunteers), but I'm willing to give it a go! I'm going to be on from about 5-6pm, so anyone's welcome to join in the fun!

So, after a few attempts, I think the decision's been sealed - that Crota's End (den) is definitely the way forward, over VoG.
Just wanted to say thanks to all the guys that helped out last night. We had a good few runs (once we stopped dying from falling down a hole!) and It looks like it's totally do-able, as a trophy.
Can't wait to get on again and nail it with you guys #tryagaintuesday

I have just watched a video of some kid soloing crota flawless with shotguns only. He made it look so easy. What are we doing wrong that we can't do it with 6 of us? Looks like swordbreaker is useful for the sword bearers. Anybody fancy trying again tonight?

The less people there are the encounters scale down. Like at the lamps section is only 1 person gets to the end there is only 1 ogre. If more make it you get 2 ogres on the lamp side and eventually 2 come out on the bridge side.
As for trying flawless I will be on tonight from about 8 to give it a few attempts

We tried the flawless again tonight, but with 5 people (for the most part) since other raids wee going on. Lesson was, the bridge is just too tricky if you don't have 6 people.
