Just pre-ordered the pc version on Amazon, for £25.00 with bonus content, figured I would would save 20 odd quid from PS4 version as I have the PC to run it nicely. ( backtracked and thought what the hell and pre-ordered the PS4 version instead ) Found another walkthrough video which sums the game up pretty well here.

I’ve ignored this because traditionally lotr games have been pants. Just briefly is it multyplayer, rts, hack ‘n’ slash or rpg, should I be getting exited?

I’ve ignored this because traditionally lotr games have been pants. Just briefly is it multyplayer, rts, hack ‘n’ slash or rpg, should I be getting exited? There was nowt wrong with Lord of the Rings Online. I know everyone's got their own idea of how Mordor should be, especially if they've read the books too, and to me this just doesn't look as though it will capture the spirit of Middle Earth. Just looks as though it boils down to leap/hack/slash/pause to watch tedious cut scene in a generic fantasy setting. And Middle Earth is still fashionable (and therefore lucrative) despite Peter Jackson producing two solid gold Hobbit turds for cinema. Of course, I could be completely wrong and it might turn out to be dead brilliant - but I doubt I'll be risking any money to find out. Older and grumpier than Retro G!

I was wondering if someone would come at me with lotr online, Yes it was good can't remember why I stopped. Ok then lotr games have been mostly pants. I still want to know why the excitement for this, I might have to resort to watching the links provided. Feeling particularly grumpy today, not enough sleep to much destiny.

It looks amazing on PC if you have a graphics card that has 6GB of video ram. Which a lot of graphics card don't. Even for high textures you need 3GB.
