So Far there are 7-8 of us expressing an interest in the meet and Manchester is a possible venue. When do you want to do this is the next question. I would need some notice and then it is the question of are wives and children invited or restricted to official clan members.

First and foremost I need to do some discussing / negotiating at home before I can count myself in, I’m going to sit back and see what the general consensus is before I put the idea to her who knows I’ve more important things to do.

I'd have to convince the Mrs to give me leave of absence. I'm in London btw.

I did mention it to my mrs, banjo playing hillbillies is vibe I picked up from her....... On another note be wrong if Keith didn't attend, perhaps a little more coordinating is needed.

I cannot do the weekend of the 11th or 12th September as my wife if working Saturday morning from 6:30 and is also away for the weekend with her beaver group. (No laughing it is part of the scouts for 5-7 year olds). A Saturday/Sunday would also be better for me as I live on the boarders of South East London and Kent. Couple of miles away from Junction 4 on the M25. Manchester is a good 4-5 hours travel for me. I do not mind going but it will be difficult to get there for a Friday night. I can do the next weekend 19th/20th September or maybe the weekend before 5th/6th September. Keith what part of London are you in?

I will also carry on mapping out where people live to get a sense of alternative places if possible. Keith are there any weekends you do not work.
