Not sure if anyone else watched this, but it is a documentary on BBC3 about E-Sports. iPlayer link
It is a little depressing really, people giving up on their promising education for an incredibly short career ("Most gamers reactions start to get deteriorate from the age of 22"). It is as depressing as people who throw their lives into Karting hoping to make it to F1 and then don't. Interesting though (but not brilliantly made)

I started to watch it (Destiny was down for maintenance). I stopped after about 10 mins because I think it had said all that it could by then - and that was what I knew before I started watching anyway. 'Geeks who spend far too long playing games', and one was laughably textbook - 16 hours a day on games, underweight, anaemic, bad skin, didn't know what a girl is. And as you say, not particularly well made. Too many shots of screaming idiot audiences. I don't see how they could have stretched it out to an hour.
