My turtle beaches fit over the top nicely but using the supplied ones I felt more comfortable due to les heat being kept in my head. Sounds daft oh and please set your eye distance it's immediately more comfortable

yeah, also make sure you remove the plastic covers from the lenses setting eye stuff and light calibration is definitely a must, played a bit more Driveclub earlier and Croft Manor - my god its amazing, it's the first time i felt a little queasy though but soon got over it and if its bad you can always use move mode, going to try the assembly later, also Gun Jack looks good. Videos below below of Croft Manor, really does not do it justice though, you are actaully walking around in a 360° view

I think it as an amazing bit of kit for£350.The immersion is fucking sublime, sure the graphics so far are not so good, but fuck me as a teaser for what is to come, I think Sony should be applauded.

Thread title changed while I stand arms akimbo, gaze defiantly at the horizon and admit that I may - may - have made a snap judgement. While I'm about it, it's not entirely inconceivable that I should have tried more than two games and two demos. In my defence, Sony didn't tell me about eye calibration. Second unit inbound.

Not that I have played it, but DriveClub VR may be a poor title to use. As driving games these days seem to be mainly around graphics (with a bit of handling thrown in), with the lower resolution screens, 90% of the game is taken away. A game such as Eve: Valkyrie or RIGS is mainly based around action. Menus are still slightly blocky, but the moment you move your head, things snap into focus. There is a very long thread on PSN Profiles about how awful the system is, and his third post is about how the XMB looks crap. Static graphics will look awful with a lower resolution, and I try to spend as little time in menus as I can anyway. The guy has spend significantly more time telling people not to buy it than play it himself. The Super Mario World 3D style platformer, Eve, RIGS, London Heist have all completely removed me from the real world, and it has been awesome. I've never been a fan of graphics over game play (both is obviously better). Hope you love it second time round!

Did you get full refund on the first one no qwibbles? I don't think it’s the bee’s knees as some do, but I find intriguing enough to give it my time, I'd describe it as the geeks Wii and look how popular that was. My motion sickness has something to contribute to me not fully embracing it to my bosom but that’s getting less the more I play, I even managed to get through a race on Driveclub without wanting to hurl. When you get the chance download the free VR animation Alumette, and stick your head in the boat, that was my first jaw dropping moment that convinced me the hat has a future. Oh and this wouldn’t be the first snap decision on these boards.. Bloodborne?

I got a full refund from John Lewis the next day - they had to, since I knew they didn't have any in stock. I was totally honest with them and said I didn't know if it was faulty or not. Everybody else's experience seemed so far removed from my own that I felt I should give it another go. I found another retailer still flogging them, in fact they had them in stock until Tues 18th. I'm still waiting for the killer game though, so I don't necessarily expect to play it a lot to begin with.
