Now that one has potential... I might get it back out of the box for that. Anyone interested would do well to pre-order from Amazon now, while it's £30 (£28 with Prime). It'll go up at lease a tenner when it's released. £55 at Game.

Out Tomorrow, still can't find any solid PS4 revues, only ones I can find admit to only having played it on Occulus Rift. Regardless of revues mine arrives tomorrow.

Yeah it looks fun, the only downside to that review is it mentions you cannot pick who you play with in multiplayer

You might think that there’s an easy solution—find some mates online and party up with them, then you can use the PS4 voice chat system to communicate—but there’s another issue: the game doesn’t let you party up with other players. There’s only one way to enter matchmaking and it puts you with random people. I played the multiplayer before release and was given about an hour to test it. So maybe these features will make their way to the game after launch or I just couldn’t find them, but from what I could tell the multiplayer was severely held back because of these decisions.
It might be something they have added since this guy played it as i have not heard it mentioned elsewhere and seems a big oversight by the developers if true...

I don't think it'd be seen as an oversight. Games developers increasingly force you into playing with strangers - friends lobbies took a year to appear in Drive Club, and Bungie do it in Destiny where if you want to do a strike, you have no option but to be put into matchmaking. Granted it probably wouldn't bother most people, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who only likes to play with people they know. For me, if it's a choice of mp with strangers or no mp at all - I'll take no mp at all. And from what I've read about Eagle Flight, that doesn't leave very much at all. I'll definitely wait for more feedback before I decide whether to break the seal.

When Sony were trying to sell us the Ps4 it was built around this ethos of social media and how easy it was to jump into games with friends, how games are allowed where it's not even possible to choose to play with a mate beats me, it defeats the whole objective of having a friend's list. Bleeding hopeless and very disappointing if it turns out to be true.

So has anyone tried it? Mine's still sealed.
I also had a thought. The appeal of driving seat games in VR - for me anyway - is being able to look around without changing course. Fly past a big spaceship in EVE or Jackal Assault, turn to have a good look and think 'ooh', that sort of thing. Or in DriveClub, 'ooh' in shit resolution, but at least you can look at a car you're passing without crashing into it. But in this one, since you turn your head to steer, I can't see how you'd be able to do that. I think I saw a comment in a review that mentioned this inability. I'd really prefer to try a demo of this one first. In fact every single game should have a demo.

It has free look, you press a button and can look anywhere, you have to complete the story first though to unlock it in SP its unlocked in MP straight away, not tried it yet, updated last night and might get a chance to play it tonight.
