Thats way over priced for a controller. I wouldn't waste your money. The dual shock 4 is fine with kontrol freeks. It doesnt even have wireless for 150 quid.

Found the Sony ones poor quality not able to handle my cave man grip, 150 is serious money, I'd pay 90 if it last 2-3 times longer than the Sony though.

They are very pricey but if it is more reliable for you then flash the cash.
I've been lucky with my 2 launch ones. I used thumb grips very early on and I did not have a problem with the thumbsticks rubber coming apart. The only problem I had recently was the wear in a trigger part which I replaced myself.

150 is way too much for a controller. I'd rather spend the money on games or a new dualshock. And beer.

My launch DS4 lasted till I got the Pro last month, in fact it was still going strong. The rubber wore away on the sticks after a couple of years but replacement knobbly things are cheap as chips - but one of the sticks didn't even have any rubber at all (because I bought the wrong size and it fell off). I could use the bare stick just as well though - you only need to move your thumb about half an inch in any direction. And this was on a console with daily use. I don't understand how you gorillas break your sticks. Unless you're gorillas. I wouldn't pay silly money for a pad, even if it's called a 'Pro'. Unless I was a silly gorilla.

I must be the said gorilla then, had one break before the warranty was up, Amazon replaced it and I did manage to repair it too. I've bought two so far. I think the early editions had a weaker trigger return spring, newer versions seem to be a bit more robust. Controllers are bound to wear out to be fair but I think it's fair to expect a couple of years out of them, or at the very least go beyond the warranty.

I've got two a white old DS4 what is more than a year old and is in fine nick, my other DS4 I sold with my old PS4 when i upgraded to the Pro and was still fine, the one that comes with the pro looks a bit more robust to be fair.
