Looks amazing, so the hat can produce the goods.
Do you have to move around when playing, like kneeling behind cover and leaning around rocks n stuff to take a shot?

standing up for me, you dont have to duck and weave but I tend to anyway when a fucking huge spider jumps at me face apparently it gets better after the big boss and co op is meant to be a blast too.

ive heard the boss is brutal but yes its the skittering noises all around you then they burrow out and jump, the shotgun is great but painfully slow to load, the accuracy of the rifle is spot on.

Not sure if anyone else has picked this up, but I managed to get it 2nd hand from Game for £30 with the aim controller.
There are several motion options that you can play, but I have turned on the full motion control, allowing me to run around as you would expect in Destiny or the like (default is always walking forward with turning right and left, but still moving forward in the same direction). The first few minutes were a little iffy with the stomach/head, but it cleared up very quickly. I spent over an hour in the headset last night and had no ill effects.
The gameplay is excellent, and the gun handling is everything you dreamt of as a kid. It really feels like you are on a different planet. The graphics are great (slightly basic(?)) but as the gameplay is great I tend not to care so much of the graphics. I've never had the issues the others had with the graphics anyway.
One of the main creatures is the head-crab style creature and I can tell you it gets very nerve racking as they are jumping at you. Mix that up with a few other much larger creatures and very suddenly things get quick tense! My kids could head me (in a manly way) exclaiming loudly as something jumped at me, or I was being rushed by a tank size creature.
The levels are intermarried with story bits, and the level of detail and the ability to move your head to take closer looks of things is just brilliant.
Loving it!

If not, I am loving it and noticed they are in stock on Amazon for £70 which is the first time they have been down at that price since pre-order as far as I've spotted. I've picked up Resident Evil 7 purely to play on VR, but not sure I have the gentlemen's attachments to actually play it! I probably should give it a go for an hour and review it for the site. Might be a job for later today ....

Yeah I'm up for some co-op at some point, resi evil looked good but horrors not really my thing tbh.
The solus project is good too and not bad value either.
Have to tear myself away from AC Origins first through....
Edit. Yes I do have the aim controller and it's great.

Sweet. Ping me when you want some co-op, happy to play whenever.
I started playing RE7, but didn't even manage to get to a save point. Just about to enter the house and I know the door is likely to slam behind me, and I bottled it. Doesn't bode well for actually playing it!
Not impressed with the graphics to be fair. It is the worst game I have found for the screen door effect. I didn't play DriveClub VR, and I believe that is bad, but Farpoint has no screen door issues that I can see, but RE7 is terrible. That is the reason I'm not playing it, not that I'm completely chicken ....
