Cheeky twats - from end of August it's a 25% increase on an annual sub:
- Annually, the price will change from £39.99 to £49.99. - Quarterly, the price will change from £14.99 to £19.99. - Monthly, the price will change from £5.99 to £6.99.
I'm not impressed, as I can't recall the last monthly freebie game I played.

What is even cheekier is that CDkeys have already put the 12 month sub up to £38, fortunately I managed to grab it this morning for £34
My next renewal is in the middle of 2019 I hate to think what price it will be then.
I’m with you on the plus games though they seem to be getting better, I’ve not played them but last months were ok and this month is Just Cause 3, I’ve already got it but there is some fun to be had until the novelty wears off.

A little tip for anyone who picked up the Plus offer in the sale a few weeks ago for £29. Make sure you have switched your auto renewal off in your account settings.

Barstewards!! Pushing gamers towards PC gaming but how long before steam charge? It'd take more than this to make me buy a light-up tower with lightning flashes on the side.

Granted 49.99 would be a very frugal PC 😳

Barstewards!! Pushing gamers towards PC gaming but how long before steam charge? If you do the math PC gaming is cheaper year on year but the initial outlay for a new PC is more than twice the price of a PS4 standard model. No multiplayer online charges and the games are alot less cost to buy. A 25% price hike is fine if they are giving 25% bettter service. As Pigmagnet has said the plus games are not everyones cup of tea. They should add PS Now to PS+ for the price increase. Adding a price increase without any increase in what PS+ offers is greed and looks like they are greedy b'stards. As for me I'm thinking of only buying single player playstation exclusives and everything else on PC. PSN is becoming as expensive as PC gaming and thats sad as it will like Michael said push gamers towards PC or more likely Xbox with the new 'X' coming out this year. Sony have made some failures this gen that it will come back to haunt them and were paying for them. A little tip for anyone who picked up the Plus offer in the sale a few weeks ago for £29. Make sure you have switched your auto renewal off in your account settings. I wish I did take up that offer but I missed it.
