Ah, I just write a post about Skyrim VR and for some reason it hasn't appeared! Apologies if you get a double post, but the words will be different. TL;DR - Skyrim VR is awesome Graphics are more like the PS3 than the PS4, but that is due to the resolution of the headset. Walking around is immense with the dragon swooping around you, and when it lands on a wall above your head it has a great sense of scale. Graphics comparison - nearer PS3 with less resolution!Control with the move controllers is great and very well done given the lack of controls on the move. Picking up a sword and shield works well, but I have't got it perfected yet, I end up running at things crab like as you turn left and right at 20 degree increments using buttons. I'm sure I will get used to it and only played 20 minutes and it seems fairly natural already. Not sure I'm going to play all 100+ hours as I've half completed the story already on the PS3, but I will get 40+ hours in as it is a joy just walking around. I had forgotten how much I hate the inventory juggling, and that will get tired very quickly, even in VR. Before I had left the dungeons I'm having to drop stuff. But it is great, and if you are tempted with VR, the £250 deal including the game is amazing.

My copy is arriving tomorrow and am looking forward to dipping back in, are you playing on a pro or standard PS4?

I'm playing on a standard. Being cheap in not upgrading my TV until I need to, so no point in me upgrading.
I wish the was a decent way of videoing the video from the headset though. I'm enjoying it, but it would be good to show the video quality rather than what the TV shows

Played an hour or so this morning and thoroughly enjoyed exploring in VR, the graphics are pretty washed out even on a Pro but that is to be expected with such an old game and the limitations with the headset but it does not detract at all from the experience. Could not get on with the moves at all and click turning is horrible so reverted back to the DS4 and had a much better experience with smooth turning ect with no sickness at all Well worth the money if you on the PSVR.

I should try the DS4. I'm loving the move controllers, but I think it may cause a few deaths. Running at an archer, shield raised and angled then slicing them in half is awesome

Just read that the next patch will add smooth turning to moves, if it does I will switch as it definitely adds something to the game.

That will be awesome. It does feel you are there. I'm starting to worry about getting an arrow in my knee ....

Got scared shitless earlier was fighting a second dragon and turned around to see a fucking great big sabre tooth cat jump through the air at me so ending up fighting both, suffice to say I won, since then I have upped the difficulty as it was a tad too easy.
Night time is amazing looking up at the stars and moons.

I'm about 5 hours in and loving it. I manage about 90 minutes before eye strain forces me to stop. I've not meet a second dragon to kill yet (killed the first scripted one). I'm now a Companion and getting enough good to get a house (5000). Once five it is off to grey beard to continue the quest.
I'm specialising on 1 handed combat and archery. Part of me wants to go the magic route, but as I started as a Bretan I'm weighted towards combat already.
I can't believe how good it is. This is the first game of its type in VR and therefore they will get better. Imagine how good these will be in 10 years time of VR continues (rather than turning into another Kinect. I would have said Move controllers, but as I'm now using them, is better slag off Microsoft, although I like the Kinect).
I'm really getting the move controllers now. If they release the smooth turning for the move that will be excellent, the stepped turning does grate a little, but is better than teleportation. In combat they are excellent, swinging the sword and shield about. Archery is also very good, pulling back the arrow and shooting people from a distance is very satisfying.
The worst bit is the usual worst bit, inventory juggling. It is easy too tedious. That isn't VR's fault, just the game.

Wish I had the stomach for this, are modes available, if so the first thing I'd change is the inventory management.

I just re-read my post. Autocorrect on the phone is terrible. I must remember to proof read my posts.
