I'm really getting into MTG Arena. It's free to play and you can build up plenty of decks without spending a penny. I used to play hearthstone and gwent quite a bit but found you needed to find deck builds online to compete. I've built quite a few of my own decks and still win more than I lose. I think you can play head to head with people you know as well so give us a shout if you fancy a go.

I've never got along with deck games, probably because they don't live up to my expectations of the Yugioh Genex tv series.
I'll give it a look through.

I can't play any card game more complex than Snap. And tbh I'm not completely sure I've grasped that.

Give it a go. There is a sort of tutorial. Once I got the hang of cards being "tapped" I found it pretty straight forward. I'd probably struggle playing with real cards on a table top but the digital version does a lot of things for you.

I'm really enjoying this. I have a blast on it every day. Got a nice collection of cards and decks built up. A lot of games are either, me destroying the opponent, or me rage quitting with my hidden tourette's coming out. A good few though become a close fought battle of wits. It's so satisfying pulling out a win when all looked doomed.
I've spent a bit of real money in game. I did the one off starter pack for about a fiver, and the same again to buy the "upgrade" for the new mastery system. Being the prat I am though, I've bought a few physical bundles and starter decks. I've just realised I've spent over £100 on a load of cards I'll probably never get around to actually playing.
