A group of us attempted the raid yesterday. Wow! It is intense but loads of fun. We only cleared the first section (yay shards again) but I think we have a sound strategy for the second part.
I would deffo recommend getting to 31 just to make things easier.
I won't be able to continue tonight. Got the in-laws around so won't be on till after 9/10pm most likely. I will probably take the next few days to level gear up and decide what weapon is best for the first section then be good to run it from the reset

As some of you may or may not know I have an Xbox live account ('sc Slayerage') for when I just want to play in peace and quiet on empty servers. Here I am soloing the new raid using nothing more than an exploding potato gun, an ice-cube sniper, some rubber boots and low-visibility underpants. If it gets boring after a while, well that's The Dark Below for you. The whole raid is spoiled of course, so don't watch if you teams of pussies haven't cracked it yet.
Next DLC, please.

A good point I heard recently was to use blade dancer on a hunter. Do the damage to crota, drop the doo dah then do a blink strike to turn you invisible. Pick the doo dah back up then move away before going in for a second run when able.
