If that's representative of the full game it's convinced me to not buy it. One of my pet hates these days is games that lead you by the nose and constantly flash controls up on screen. I could perhaps forgive that if it was a tutorial but that was apparently a chapter 5. And we're still getting quick time events in combat? I watched about half of that and the player seemed to spend more time watching than doing. Nope - not for me. I want to play a game, not be led through it by a list of commands.

Dito, perhaps we're getting old.

Dito, perhaps we're getting old. It's unimaginative game designers putting graphics above everything else. I bet this is just Gears of War in frock coats. And it'll be 50GB minimum because of the cinematics.

So I looked up the videos on YouTube, and picked chapter 2.
Of the 16 minute video, half of it is cut scene, with a short walk, but there are more cut scenes later on.
May skip this game ....

I really want this to be good as nothing else is out for a while, but everything I hear is not great, hopefully reviews will be out before release..

Keith I’d wait to gage the reaction from those that buy it, the advantage of it being single play is that there is no online community to keep pace with so you won’t be missing out by holding off a few days.
Personally I’m hitting the skip cut scene and skip game button on this one.

I preordered this today. Im trying to keep my expectations low and hopefully get pleasantly surprised. I'm looking forward to not playing Destiny for a bit.

No reviews yet online anywhere, something smells fishy!!, not looking good at all, I hate it when developers don't release copies for review until after the release date...

I think IGN are due to have their review up Thursday morning (American time i guess, so anytime after 5:00 for us) I imagine other sites will release reviews around the same time.
I've heard various things about the length of the game, anything from 4 - 16 hours so I would like a review to clear this up, either way im still hopeful that it wont be terrible!!!

If this review is accurate, you might want to consider returning it unopened for a refund, then if you still want to play it, buy it again in a couple of weeks. It'll probably be £18.86 then.

it looks great and even if it lasts 5 odd hours i don't care if it is fun and not a buggy mess, it will take me a week or so to get 5 hours free anyway
