I've not got to any shooting parts yet to see what they are like. But the graphical tech is amazing. They have created a very good world.
In terms of gameplay it reminds me a lot of heavy rain with the large amount of QTE. The camera is very close which can make the controls a little janky. It does seem more film than game so far with large periods of just watching with little interaction. Like I said earlier, when I've had control I have spent more time looking at the wooden railings, lights and buildings and everything else in the world than rushing to the next checkpoint.
As a graphical showcase of what the PS4 can do you will not find a better example. As for gameplay I will spend more time with it tonight and hopefully do a bit of shooting.

Finally got to a part with some shooting. The mechanics seem ok, nothing amazing but I wouldn't say it's bad.
One part that took a while to get used to is that when you hit L2 to fine aim the reticule appears straight away. But your shots won't necessarily hit where you expect. You have to give it a second for Galahad to settle into his aim for the accuracy. The default rifle and pistol are a bit uninspiring but the arc rifle I had a quick go off was very cool!
Moving from cover to cover works well and transitions are seamless. The camera can be a bit of a pain with it being right on galahads shoulder all the time but I got used to it fairly quickly.
I can understand the criticisms being fired at the order, with the main gripe being lots of non interactive parts but so far it hasn't hindered my enjoyment. I'm taking my time and enjoying it
