What are people's favourite Loadouts in destiny? Mine varies depending upon what I am doing. Normally I will be levelling a random weapon up which changes things. But the following are my go to Loadouts for the raids and nightfalls.
VoG
Word of Crota, vision of confluence (oracle phases)/ Praedeths Revenge, purifier vii (void fusion rifle to destroy praetorian shields) / gjallerhorn, corrective measure
Crota
Fatebringer (exploding enemies when headshot is great for thralls)/ ice breaker, ldr 5000 (armour piercing to shoot through walls to kill ogres and swordbearers/ gjallerhorn, hunger of crota
Void Burn
Word of crota / praedeths revenge / truth, corrective measure
Arc burn
Fatebringer / ldr 5000 / fang of ir yut
Solar burn
Vision of confluence, crota raid auto rifle / Ice breaker, black hammer / gjallerhorn, hunger of crota

Due to my very recent inauguration into the raiding fraternity, and general ongoing spectacular lack of luck with the loot, I only have one elemental primary, the Abyss Defiant. Since I only got that last week I've only had the chance to use it once in a raid. I'm not convinced it'll replace my common or garden Badger (with firefly) as primary of choice, it needs more testing. 2 of my characters have the Badger and it's rarely not equipped as my primary. I've been lucky with the Black Hammers, though, but that gun only comes into its own in certain situations.
My loadouts tend to vary depending on class and how bothered I can be to swap weapons. Although they all have Ice Breakers I'm trying not to rely on it (which I have done in the past), in fact recently I've been equipping the shop-bought LDR 5001. It's but the work of an instant to switch to the LDR for a long shot then back to the primary; and it's fun shooting captains through boulders. In fact for arc burn I think I'd favour it over Patience & Time.
Nightfall loadouts (subject to change):
Arc: Badger/LDR or P&T, Murmur/Thunderlord, or Exodus Plan R launcher (Omnigul doesn't like it). Solar: Abyss Defiant or Badger/Ice Breaker, Black Hammer, Murmur/Against All Odds for gunning (an absolute beast) or Hunger of Crota for launching (Dragon's Breath in reserve). Yes, I don't have a Goldiehawn yet. Void: Badger/Longbow Synthesis sniper, Trolley Problem fusion/Defiant Gravity for gunning, Truth for launching.
For everyday patrols I switch between scout and hand cannon for primary (only have one since the dlc) and am changing other slots all the time. I always seem to find legendaries worth levelling, but I am nearly full now. My hunter has the Hard Light exotic auto, and it's unspectacular, but I like the feel of it. That tends to be my sole criterion for auto rifles, whether or not I like the feel. HL feels good and sounds great, and immense fun when coupled with Radiant Dance Machines for auto-strafing.
Exotics I've maxed and don't (or rarely ever) use:
No Land Beyond Super Good Advice (Against All Odds wipes the floor with it) Patience and Time Suros Regime
Untested raid weapons for when I'm running behind the big boys: Cutting Remark/Personal Jibe/Clenched Fist. (all void)

Yeah pigmagnet, the element primaries are only really good for the nightfall burns or shielded enemies. Except fatebringer which is still one of the best hand canons in the game. I have a few legendary scout rifles I use with firefly occassionally.

Also super good advice is brilliant for oracles and the over soul. As shooting them is classed as not hitting a target it keeps returning ammo to the magazine. Meaning you never have to reload at those parts

Meaning you never have to reload at those parts Now that is good to know as I have a SGA which I'm not sure I have ever used ... I'll have to get it levelled up. My issue is I have too many guns with minimal usage and hence not levelled. I've made me Hunter my Hand Cannon expert, otherwise I always use the same weapons all the time and only change for Nightfalls/Raids with the appropriate damage types

And almost certainly lose ammo. I won't believe they'll fix that bug till it's fixed.

Yeah that is a fair point. But still something to think about for the VoG. Especially if you don't have any of those raid weapons that do increased damage to oracles.
Yeah ed I have loads of I levelled exotics that I am slowly working through. Since the nightfall this week is no burn I may use a few different things since all my good weapons are maxed.
It's a shame you don't get an exp during raids. Would make it so much easier to level stuff

VOG PRI-usually mida tool or VOC then switch to fate bringer for the final stage as it is the quickest for taking out oracles if you get telaported. SPEC-cant go wrong with icebreaker/black hammer HEAVY- lately a heavy machine gun called deviant gravity (void) great for void sheilds and frees up the exotic slot however ghorn at the ready CROTA PRI-ive found mida tool really good for all parts of this raid maybe changing to the voc for solar damage now and again SPEC-same as VOG these 2 snipers interchange depending on primary HEAVY-hunger of crota all the way through ARC BURN- fatebringer is a must and usually the murmur in spec slot with thunderlord as heavy untill the boss then ghorn. VOID BURN- i seem to lack decent void weapond just now but usually at least the truth or deviant gravity as heavy SOLAR BURN- easy one this VOC, blackhammer/icebreaker and ghorn/hunger of crota
