Totally agree, love all the John Woo films except the American crap he made, The killer is my favourite, not seen them in years though, must watch them all again at some point. Chow Yun Fat is such a great action actor as well... Thanks for reminding me about them

I preferred the Ong Bak follow up, Tom Yung Goong. That's the original title anyway, it had about 5 other titles. It's the one where they nick his elephant. There's a terrific sequence with him fighting his way up several levels of a building, and it's done in one single 4-minute take. He's absolutely knackered by the end. The Raid? I say pffft!
This is the one. It isn't lightning fast, but even Brucie and the other chop-socky masters relied on editing and having a rest between takes.
