Has anyone any feedback to offer on this? I'm curious but I've heard it described as a short-lived walking simulator. Although I think the non-inclusion of characters is a good idea, it does seem as though there's little to it and that it might just rely on getting by on the atmosphere it creates. If there's one thing that's piqued my interest it was the Eurogamer review - the usual pretentious twaddle you get from that site, to be sure, but it uses the magic word 'Wyndham'.
If you don't know why Wyndham is a magic word in the context of this game, I'm afraid I have no time for you.
Anyone played it yet? It's been out almost a whole day.

I have ventured to the store and purchased it. The clincher was the dynamic windmill theme. I also want to get in before the spoiler cretins start mouthing off.

Well, it didn't download yesterday afternoon when it was supposed to, so I only got a chance for a quick look before bedtime. So I can't comment as I never moved out of the first location. But I was slightly dismayed at hearing an American voice - it was the English villageness of it all that appealed to me. And putting an unridable bike there is just teasing. As for the running - I didn't detect much difference. Although I know roughly what to expect, I think the speed you move round might be a clincher for many peoples.
Very early days though. I'm definitely not reading anything - I've already accidentally heard that the final boss is an impossible bitch if you don't have the rocket launcher.

From what I read you need to hold R2 down to build up speed.

Yes, I know. It must take you some time to accelerate though. Could have avoided that altogether if they just let you ride that bike.
