Gentlemen just a reminder, although we think of this forum as our own we do indeed have a landlord who kindly offers us this forum, Pro boards have rules that we have to adhere to in order for us to run our forum.
We received our first warning from the big boss allowing the posting "adult material" the post was part of a dialogue a few of us were involved in and tbh none of us at the time thought it was explicit or horrendously offensive.
The responsibility falls squarely upon the shoulders of the Gamers Evolved staff to monitor and remove such posts in the future.
I ask all members to be mindful of what you post, and all staff members to be vigilant.
For the record adult material can refer to nudity, pornographic images and or reference.
Kind Regards Michael Admin ProBoards does not permit the posting of adult material. Your forum appears to be in violation of this policy.
We ask that you please remove all offending content from your forum within 48 hours.
Examples of offending content includes but may not be limited to:

Did they actually specify the 'offending' article? The wording suggests that any reference to 'adult' material is a no-go. So if you bung up, say , a red band film trailer, that could get the site a warning. For any interested readers, I made a mock-up picture that included - contain yourselves - bare female breasts, in a very tame non-sexual, non-graphic context. That is what has been removed.
It's ridiculous. I've put up a link this morning to an article on Eurogamer that includes a very violent game trailer. I'm thinking I should now go and remove it so as not to get the forum in trouble. I'm not having a pop at GE admin, by the way, I'm aware that there are rules by which you must abide. But it's still ridiculous. you can use the F-word in a film now and they'll only put a PG on it.

Pig I was as shocked as you and I think you can tell by my tone and usual charming lovable manner that I won't be suggesting the usual public flogging for the said offence (this time) but indeed while we live under pro boards roof we indeed do have to dance to their tune.
I think with regards to your video gaming footage, we need to keep perspective on this
Clearly nudity is the issue on this occasion, in this case a cartoony joke picture that included bare nipples. Leave your gaming related footage on the forum we have no problem with it, and they haven't complained.
If there is any blame it's on me and not you Pig as it's my responsibility to monitor the forum, I'm blaming Ian in this case as I appointed him director of nipple censorship.

There's nobody here to blame, not even me, and I admit I do occasionally bung a swear word here and there just to try to get a response from anyone. But they appear to be okay with that. They're okay with the game screenshot I put in the Phantom Pain thread, which is infinitely more offensive than anything else I've seen on these forums. It's a genuine screenshot, too. But it's okay because you can't see her nipples.
Well it's official now - the female form is a dirty no-no!
There goes my idea for a Player's Wives gallery then. Or could we still do it with bikinis?

Wow. Was not expecting that! Seems harsh. I was trying to think of anything dodgy I've seen on here and was drawing massive blank. It can't really be for that cake picture can it?

Be careful what you put up on the forum, our last forum was killed by a Eastern European Viagra bot let's not be responsible for the demise of this one.

I have already closed a thread on the board regarding this and do not want to close another, I don't wish to come across as the bad guy, but Michael is making sense on what he is asking, please let the matter lie and lets get on with discussing what we all enjoy - Games!!

There was nothing in the thread you've closed that infringed proboard's terms and conditions. So there was no danger of it attracting negative attention. Your censorship is heavy-handed.
It also doesn't make sense. Since it's obvious you think my joke is going to have the proboard heavies waving red cards, why didn't you just remove the whole thing?

I am going to remove it, I wanted to make everyone aware why it was being removed first, I am at work at the moment and multi-tasking very badly and will remove it when I get home tonight in my own time, I agree with you but do not see the point in taking the chance just for the sake of making a point. It may heavy handed but it is what I believe is correct which unless I am wrong is my prerogative?
