It's a marmite game, and luckily I like Marmite. I've only seen around 3 or 4 planets so far and in fact I spent around 3 hours last night on a moon that looked pretty boring the moment I landed. But I started tootling about with beacons and following markers to crashed ships and higher life forms and whatnot, learned a lot of Gek words and discovered traces of another race - and they don't seem to like each other. I can perhaps see getting involved in a war in the future. I was mining everything and opening crates for those artifacts that sell well, discovered aluminium which appears to be a good seller. Found that airport again (by accident) but if anyone knows how to leave a waypoint marker, please shout out. Anyway, this boring little moon kept my attention all night and I'm still not finished - if I can find 2 more life forms I'll get a nice cash bonus that will bump my stash up over a million; almost enough to buy a ship with a much bigger hold. I did find a crashed one but it only had one extra slot and needed too much work.
I am enjoying this no end.

Mods, is it possible for this to have its own board, ideally up at the top? Seems a shame to have it buried down in the general PS4 thread now. I saw at least 6 GE peeps playing it last night. And you never know, we might get some of them coming back to share discoveries and whatnot.
Eurogamer restarted the game 50 times just to show some variation in starting planets. Here's a few minutes of non-spoilery hunks of spinning rock. Must say I do rather like 65DaysofStatic's tunes too:

You need to make a warp cell which fuels the hyper drive , can be crafted with antimatter and thamium. You get the recipe from one of the beacons it sends you to make antimatter . You make suspesion fluid then craft electron vapor then antimatter .

I took a shortcut - can't recall which one, but something I was supposed to craft, I just bought from a space station.

Make sure you claim and save the place you found. A greyed out icon should appear on your radar if you are pointing in that direction and near enough to it. You can also mark them with your binoculars. Press L2 and zoom on any building in the area. You can also scan for lifeforms but hard to see if you weren't looking closely. When using your binoculars you will see a pulsing small white dot for a couple of seconds. It will be a lifeform. Lifeforms already scanned will be a green dot and a red dot will be a lifeform you haven't scanned. I wish they would make them dots bigger and more visible. Has anybody noticed when you place upgrades on your suit, ship and multi-tool next to each other there is a coloured border around them. Well I experimented with it and if you place the same type of upgrade next to each other it gives an increase to what the enhancement the upgrade gives you. For example I've found 2 hot environment upgrades and put them together. It allows you to survive in very hot planets for longer periods. That should be great for mining rare elements. The first post has been edited with links to the official news. It seems they are aware of the issues some people are having with hyperdrives and are preparing a patch.

That's my issue it is not sending me to anywhere, I have no marker to head to, short of visiting every station to see if I can get the recipe I might just have to buy it but then wont be able to craft it going forward.

Keith you need to make a warp cell and jump to the next system to get the anti-matter blueprint.
