I played it at the Eurogamer expo last year, was a bit ropey but the videos I have seen lately look very good, I belong to a games testing group and am hoping it get to test it in the future

I want to play this with my Logitech G25 steering wheel setup but I have read that my wheel isn't supported which is a let down. Apparently Logitech is not supporting consoles any more so I can't use my wheel on the PS4 at all. I was looking forward to playing Project cars too which looks like a simulation game that I'm more interested in. I will get the PC version which does support my wheel. As for drive club I'm at two minds. I just don't like using a controller for driving sim games and I can't justify buying a new Thrustmaster wheel just for it. They are over 300 quid. I will give the demo version a go but I probably won't buy the full game until Thrustmaster wheels are cheaper or another company brings out a cheaper wheel for the PS4.

The PSN upgrade version of this is up for order on the store at £34.99, which for once makes a PS4 download title cheaper than the disk version (as far as I know). I'm still waiting to play the demo though - I don't seriously think they'll bollocks up the driving mechanics, but I don't want something that's just a happy-clappy social network on wheels.
Edit - I've just seen that Project Cars is out the following month. I can't see meself wanting to buy two new driving games since they all look the same nowadays anyway. I think Project Cars looks better so as long as there's more than one track in the Drive Club demo, the demo will do me fine.

I’m not aware of Project Cars, though the title is putting me off already, I tend not to look ahead to up and coming games to much as it usually leads to disappointment.

I’m not aware of Project Cars, though the title is putting me off already, I tend not to look ahead to up and coming games to much as it usually leads to disappointment. I tend not to look ahead too. I've only watched a couple of trailers for both of them. But graphics are so good on consoles nowadays that racing games to me all look the same. There's not going to be much between them. I'm only guessing I'll prefer Project Cars because it appears to have a good spread of modern and classic cars, more like PGR, and Drive Club looks to be more social-based. I admit this is only based on a quick look at both games - but if I buy DC it's unlikely I'll even be interested in PC. In fact the release schedule will harm PC - so many will have bought DC the month before that they won't want another car game just yet, no matter how good it looks.

Stuff em both I’ll just buy a Dreamcast and PGR again. And yes Paul Project Gotham Racing was a naff name, and not a Batmobile in site. But don’t pay any attention to me rambling, I’m just passing time until clocking off time. The wife keeps telling me I should be more optimistic but I know if I was I’d only end up being disappointed.
