I've been watching live streams, and got to say im very impressed, but one pore guy rage quit after constently being rear ended by other live aponants, you can make the game as smart as you like but you can't put the smart into the twats you get matched with.

And this is the game that made me pre-ordered a Ps4 a forza killer lol. A good job we have the advantage off being last in the realise schedule, if I had a pre-order it would be cancelled.

Was thinking the same mate, imagine if it came out on launch day, what a disappointment still it's free to try it out might not be that bad....

I also have enough games. Getting this on PS plus on Friday for a burn. Did try it at Eurogamer and found the controls quite responsive but it did seem easy. If enough people on here get it and are prepared to give Destiny a rest we may as well get a club going.

Hmm. What to do, what to do. I've pre-ordered the PSN upgrade, but that wasn't because I've been particularly excited about Driveclub, it was because I just wanted a racing game. Sticking with the free version to evaluate it first is looking to be the more attractive option. There seems to be an alarming number of reviewers thinking that it's just plain dull.

So if the reviews are saying this is average I wonder what state the game was in last year when it got delayed.

I'm ignoring the reviews. They are so varied from good to average that I wonder if it's because it is just a track racer in this day and age of open worlds Etc.
Personally, as long as the handling model is decent just the challenge of beating my own best times is enough! Still saving my money until Friday. See how plus version plays.

Gonna pick up the demo and give it a go Saturday night, see how it goes. It looks lovely and i'm not a huge racer fan so this will probably be a game suited to my play style (casual/arcadey) so as long as the controls aren't janky as hell it'll fill that game slot for me. Can't be worse than The Crew beta by all accounts!

Wise words, but I still can't help feeling bitterly disappointed. The behind the scene fallout for Sony is going to be huge, a lot of hopes were pinned on this it’s an exclusive there are no excuses. lets hope the third parties can show them the way to go. At the moment If you want next gen consol racing there is only one place to go and it’s not PS4. Rant over.

Forza had me on Xbox and is probably my preferred racing game. Forza 2 and 3 were amazing. But they've not improved upon them since. I completely agree with the fallout for Sony from yet another average reception for an exclusive title. But the word of mouth i am getting about this game doesn't ring with what I've read from the reviews. I can see a lot of people sticking with the plus version. But quite a few may pay that upgrade fee. If driveclub doesn't scratch my racing itch my hopes are pinned on project cars. Failing that I may have to buy an Xbox one just for forza (not horizon)
