Just bought this drive from Argos £64.99, I have £30.00 vouchers to spend as well, so not a bad price hopefully all goes well with the upgrade, picking it up on Friday ...

I can report that I have upgraded successfully to the above 2TB HDD and can also use the old PS4 drive as a portable 500gb drive

I fancy getting that drive too and using my PS4 1TB in my laptop. My laptop drive developed bad sectors and I lost all my downloaded games. Only about 200GB is useable now. Got the games backed up on another drive thankfully saving a lot of downloading.
How easy was it taking the drive case apart?

piss of p**s once you pry one side of the rest was all good, and to add to the benefit I used the old drive in the case as well, it just snaps back together:)

I'm getting a 1TB drive tomorrow, it's big enough for me because I alternate buying multi platform games between my PS4 and XBOX ONE.

I've ordered one from Argos. Get a £5 voucher off a future purchase so an even better deal. I've got a couple drives lying around, so the case will come in handy for one of them.

Just upgraded to the 2TB Samsung - just as easy as everyone has said.
Thanks to retro for the thread and to bahamut for the advice and links, Destiny awaits!

I finally got around to installing my 2TB hard drive in my PS4. Installing all your games again is a pain but worth it. I saved some cash so big thanks to Keith for that article. Here are a few pics.
Whats left after you take it apart.
I was surprised that it is a actual Samsung ST2000LM003 aka Spinpoint M9T inside.
Total space after you install system firmware
