Right something else to get my chest, these robot drones that come after you if you get to trigger happy with the environment, how come they appear on every planet? We don’t have them perhaps we should, but what kind of universe is it that has these robot centurions pop up on every planet, hardly a unique bio-system if these robots are there throughout the entire universe .

Do you know they're everywhere? The impression I get is that most planets will have nothing on them, but some are inhabited. I know about as much as I want to now.

It’s the impression I got reading Edds link, that even overdoing mining can bring these robots on, I’m assuming you’ll be able to mine on any planet you choose even the empty ones in fact it seems to be recommended to dig down to survive hostile environments at least until you can terraform the place.
There are also underground cave systems to be found I didn’t know that before I read the article, but the robot thing is kind of bothering me unless they are part of a much bigger picture if you get my drift.

This is currently £41.50 at The Game Collection (never used em). I've emailed Amazon to ask if they have any price-matching policy because my pre-order there stands at £48.99. I'm pretty sure they don't have an official policy, but they have been known to drop prices to match other sites. You never know. Wahay! I am valuable! For Amazon said, after some waffle: 'For a valuable customer, as one time exception to our standard policy, I've now change the cost of the item in your order to £41.50'. Of course it'll be £34.99 everywhere by release, but still. Back of the net.

No Man's Sky gets deeper. You don't just fly round deserted planets shooting rocks - a leaked image shows what appears to be a conversation with another life form. Clickety. There are suggestions that in order to converse with a race you might actually have to learn its language. Assuming that you'll have to do something perilously close to thinking in order to do this, this could be another thing that will turn away some gamers. It's another plus as far as I'm concerned (the language learning, not the turning away). 3 months to go!

This is how I understand it works, hidden around the planet are monoliths with hieroglyphic type things on them, for each new monolith you find you learn one new word so the translated text of gobbledygook from an npc now has one readable word, find two big stone things and now you can read two words etc.
I like it like you said it’s getting deeper, anyway I now also have it on pre-order.

If only it was that simple, couldn’t find any direct email, only a mutable choice selections of drop boxes that ends up with them contacting me as there wasn’t an appropriate question about pricing.

Yes, that sounds like it. Picked 'other question' from the lists, typed some words in a box (they still call it email) and that was that!

Well it turns out also after a lot of waffle im not as much of a valid customer as you. So you have every right to wear that smug face.

Over 20 mins with commentary, longest gameplay footage yet available, with a better idea of what you do and how you go about it. Anybody still asking 'but what do you do in the game' should just watch this and shut the hell up.

Sean Murray is probably sick of explaining it. It's shaping up nicely. Those menu screens look a bit like another space game we used to play which is a good thing. It also borrows GTA's 5 star wanted mechanic. He seems to have shown everything the game has to offer but there's probably more he hasn't shown. It will probably be game of the year. I just wonder with the scope of the game will people be playing it a couple months after release when they've made it to the center of the universe. The title is changing to "Space Dick" according to Sean in the video.

I don't expect to get to the centre. I dare say there'll be people racing to it so they can go play the next game in their pile, but as long as I'm enjoying it (and it looks completely immersive to me) I can't see myself being in any particular hurry. In no hurry at all, if the rumour is true that all there will be at the centre of the universe is a note from God saying 'I told you it was big'.
Actually, that'd be worth hurrying for.
