I went to see Deadpool at the cinema yesterday. I was laughing out loud all the way through. I can see why some people wouldn't like it, but it is up there with Dodge ball for me which cracks me up everytime I watch it. I did read some reviews on imdb and Amazon when I got back. One guy gave it 1* as he hasn't seen the film, but the trailer has rap music in and be doesn't like rap. Some people are morons. Is there anyway that we can stop people like that being able to comment on things! Some people are idiots. Somebody reviewed my book and gave it five stars, saying it was the best zombie book he'd ever read. My book is not about zombies, so I guess he meant to review something else. Still 5*...

Perhaps he'd like to give mine a 5-star review too, it isn't about zombies either. Apart from that bit with Lazarus, I suppose.

I know what you mean though, I had the same problem, and this isn't the only film with cack dialogure recording. Makes you wonder whether there's a current fad for it, like spazzy action camera work. I never have to replay or put subs on with old films to catch bits of dialogue, but I find it pretty common in new ones.

Talking of drug lord films I watched Sicario the other night, thought it was great, very gritty and well shot

I liked it too, but everyone I talked to about it said it was rubbish. Narcos worth a look season 1 out now next one in August on Netflix.

Just ignore anyone who says Sicario is rubbish, as they don't know what they're talking about.

Trainspotting. 20 years on (and about 15 since I last saw it) and I'd forgotten how good it is. Might not have been a good idea to be eating during the 'worst toilet in Scotland' scene, but I managed to keep it down.
