Quick infusery questions. I've done none yet because I'm saving my marks (for the Hung Jury scouty). Does the gun you're upgrading end up with the attack power of the gun you're dismantling? For example I have a purple sniper on 245, and recently picked up a bluey with about 265. Would the end result be a sniper of 265? So on a related note is it worth not upgrading gear until you have stuff to infuse that's significantly higher? Or are you just allowed to go up a couple of points per infuse? For all your infusion calculation needs... This is a very helpful infusion calculator website

If you prefer melee the blade dancer subclass on hunter is about as melee as you can get, I think.

I'm at the stage where I'm just doing the odd daily heroic, and the bounty board jobs. And also because there's nothing else to play. Just when I think I'll give it a rest again something else crops up. Since I've done no reading ahead etc, I only just found out that you get a freebie exotic from the gunsmith when you get to level 3. I got the warlock scout, but I really want the hunter popgun. Be just my bloody luck if his weapons testing is all crucible based, like the 4 out of 5 he had last week.

Yeah it changes week to week mate. Rank 3 for each class gets you a class specific exotic and rank 5 gets you an exotic hand canon. I think the rank 5 one has you do some crucible as part of the quest though

And I've also got a Hawkmoon, so I don't mind not getting the other one. I think I prefer the Ace of Spades to Hawkmoon, actually - with firefly, and the maverick perk that returns a round to the clip after each precision kill, it really feels properly 'exotic'.

Yeah the rank 5 hand cannon is the first curse which is the polar opposite to the last word. It's slow rate of fire. It's generally a bit shit and the crucible part of the quest to get it is ridiculous as you have to get 7 critical kills in one match. Definitely doesn't feel like an exotic.
Have you done the sleeper simulant or the no time to explain quest lines yet?

Have you done the sleeper simulant or the no time to explain quest lines yet? Nope, I know nothing of them. I've heard of Sleeper Simulant but that's about it. If they involve the crucible I wouldn't do them anyway.

Sleeper simulant involves finding random DVALIN fusion rifle relic drops. There are 4 of them and you hand them in to the gun smith as you get each one.
Then you wait. On the 7th of each month a mission will appear on earth. You run that and it starts the quest line off.

Yes, I just watched a vid. I've been playing all my guardians and have no idea who's picked up how many of what. I'll play the wait and see game.

Yeah. Just wait till the 7th and see who has the mission available.
The no time to explain quest involves picking up some hidden ghosts during the paradox mission when it's the daily

I've never managed to get to grips with pulses. And I see that one involves the VoG, which I still hate.
