This VR does look promising, I had to check that this wasn't left over from April fools. You have to scroll down a bit to get to the interesting bits about how the menus and base building work, with holographic images that appear on your wrist that you then place in the environment, that's proper sci-fi that is. uploadvr.com/hands-on-no-mans-sky-vr-is-a-world-of-limitless-possibilities/

I've just had another look at this in case the patch due in a couple of days a) makes me want to play and b) makes me want to try VR again. Sadly, this game puts the PS4 in permanent hoover mode.
I'm not buying another Sony console unless they guarantee it won't make more noise than the games they expect you to play on it.

I don't think ether the PS4 or the headset are up to it, the next one will be a different story along with a new headset design and then we'll get to see what VR can do, except me as it will just make me want to hurl my lunch further. At the moment though I've no desire to grab the next gen, but would lean towards Xbox purely for game pass.
Edit Having watched a video of someone playing it on PSVR I'll withdraw the above I was only going by what I had read and it turns out they may not have even launched the VR aspect of the game correctly apparently you have to turn the headset on and enter the game via the headset for it to work properly, from what I saw on the video its probably the best thing yo can do with a PSVR, still no regrets in letting mine go though.
