Rumble Fish
An absolute classic, when Rourke and Cage acted and Diane Lane was a belter.

Inside Out.
Really imaginative take on the 'inside your head' type. Some great gags and a little bit of emotion. Excellent film from Pixar and worth a watch, particularly if you have young uns.

Terminator: Genisys.
Surprised myself by really enjoying it. Although I imagine it would be a much worse film if you'd seen the trailer which gives away every single twist in the film. So don't watch the trailer, disengage brain and enjoy a throwback action movie.
Oh, and I have no idea how Jai Courtney (Kyle Reese) gets work - he's been terrible in everything I've seen him in.

I disengaged brain successfully, and can see why it might appeal as nothing more than a dumb action flick, but still thought it was abysmal. I stopped trying to make sense of it but that didn't help. The cast were uniformly shite but to be fair to them, the material was too. Game of Thrones lady was even worse in this - fittingly, as bad as Linda Hamilton was in the role so perhaps she did it on purpose. Courtney does seem to appear relentlessly in shite but that could be Worthington Syndrome - Sam W has managed to wangle leading roles in huge American films and he's always crap too, but catch him in a smaller role in his native Oz and he can be really quite acceptable. As for Arnie - well, he's always Arnie, and even in crap he's always watchable. For me the terminator series started on the downhill slope with T2. One of the reasons the original is a stone-cold classic is because of the portrayal of the terminator as a monotone emotionless machine - as it should be. I couldn't stand this 'let's be pals' crap that came in with T2 when they tried to humanise the bot with catchphrases. Arnie in Genisys may as well have had a straw hat, a corncob pipe and a rocking chair.
On the plus side, it makes Salvation look good, and though I only watched it last night I'm forgetting it already.

Just seen the new StarWars film, wow I think it's best to date including the original.

Just seen the new StarWars film, wow I think it's best to date including the original. Loved it also. Its been criticised for being a little too close to the original, but sod that, I loved it. I spent most of the running time grinning like a twat.

I don't disagree with any of this at all, which makes my enjoyment of it thoroughly confusing, even to me.

Watched the Martian which I quite enjoyed, also I saw life of pi the other day (old film I know) but it was sitting on my sky plus for ages took me 3 instalments to watch it. I'm not sure what all the fuss was about didn't rate it at all it's hardly a Forrest Gump is it.

Loved the new star wars, the characters were great and think it's set up for a superb next episode!
Watched Jurassic World with the kids and overall pretty decent although thought the ending was a little bit pants!
Got Ant Man and interstellar to watch tonight.

Just Watched Jurassic world, it was very good better than expected tbh, I agree about the ending, it was weak considering the rest of the film, still very enjoyable though

Legend was ok, Tom Hardy does a good job in playing the two gangsters would of been better if they acted out some their early antics in the rise to notoriety. To be honest story wise I think they could of done more.

Bone Tomahawk. Rootin' tootin' western with a damn good script, an almost as good cast (Kurt Russell at the head of it), and some violence that will have you squirming. I could go on, but I'd rather just watch it again.
